This district slightly west of Shinjuku is much more chill: it is for the initiated the relaxing district of Tokyo. So we took the essence of this district, its relaxing atmosphere and its soothing mood to create these pants. Japan is the country of effervescence, of megalopolis, but let’s not forget that it is also the country of contemplation, of the appreciation of time passing, of patience. Koenji is this small haven in the giant Tokyo. If we move away from the Japanese capital a little bit, we can find even more striking examples of this contemplation: Obanazawa for example. These pants are a condensed version of this Japanese spirit too often ignored. Take the time to breathe, to watch the time pass by, take a break and do it in a worthy pair of pants.
Linen, the most versatile fabric
These pants are made of linen. This fabric has many qualities beyond its unique touch: it is a very strong and resistant textile fiber (infinitely more than cotton or wool). Moreover it does not lint, which allows you to wash it without fearing that it deteriorates with each washing. It is hypoallergenic, breathable, thermoregulatory (thanks to its hollow fiber, it keeps warm in winter and cool in summer). Linen also absorbs moisture, which allows it to dry particularly quickly. You can therefore wear these pants all year round contrary to what many people think.
