Designer sneakers are a rising fashion in the hype districts of the Japanese capital. When you come across someone with remarkable style, and usually good taste, there is a good chance that person is wearing designer sneakers. If you want to be one step ahead of the style of the people around you, having shoes as stylish as these won’t do it all, but you can be sure you’re going in the right direction with these designer sneakers.
As colorful as Japan
The majority of Designer Sneakers are black, and it’s easily understandable: black is neutral and therefore the easiest color to have on designer sneakers. We decided to take the opposite approach by opting for a colorful shoe. After all, Japan is known for its colors: the pink of Sakura, the orange of autumn, and of course the neon colors of its many trendiest districts (Shibuya is just one example). Japan is known for its style, but what made it famous and what is really in its DNA is the extravagant style that could be found in Harajuku until the 2000s. Making a black sneaker designer would not have paid tribute to this Japanese stylistic heritage. So we managed to get a shoe that is a designer sneaker without making it black, and thus remaining in the spirit of Japanese fashion innovation.
